No automatic without electricians like Burslan

Before we started talking, Burslan had a fear that he would not have much to say for the interview. The reason was his short period as an electrician at Dietatec. Continue reading because the fear proved to be in vain!

No automatic without electricians like Burslan

Electrician BurslanBurslan Aihati's point of view is interesting: It comes from a fresh professional who just got started with something new. As an electrician at Dietatec, you can contribute to the kettle the customer will use in the restaurant.

Burslan switched the busy work of an entrepreneur in 2021 to electricians education due to the pandemic. Burslan has only good things to say about the school.

My teacher gave me a tip for an internship at Dietatec, and I ended up with an interview. There are only a few mixer kettle manufacturers worldwide, so it was my job to tell the teacher what it is to work as an electrician here.

The education covered the basics of electrical engineering, and it focused on air conditioners, among others. Only a few people ever have a chance to see a mixer kettle.

The first time Burslan saw a kettle was when he started at Dietatec. The automation presented many new things to Burslan, and the tiny details were the most difficult initially. The job is millimeter-precise work: The holes for screws must be in place to avoid gaps, movement, and rubbing that can damage the kettle. Some parts are also small, and you must choose and use the right one in every work step.

The electrician's job is to secure the safe use of the device

The electrician's role in Dieta kettle's production is invaluable. All of the intelligent functions of the mixer kettle would only work with being connected and wired correctly.

Tilting the kettle would be challenging even with the smaller kettle sizes if using a workforce solely. You would use a scoop for stirring, and the kettle's heating would be a challenge too. That means my job is pretty fundamental.

In Dieta kettle's, it is all about the details. Burslan highlights that it is impossible to send a kettle from the factory with flaws that make it unsafe or not exactly functioning as the customer expects. It is clear at the factory that in a professional kitchen, cooking can not stop, especially when dealing with the Dieta kettle, which is a part of many work stages used to produce several dishes.

Safety is the priority for electricians, and Dietatec secures it with the standardized process, including double testing. We ensure that the kettle is functioning correctly, is safe to use, and meets the customer's needs.

And then the details. We often hear from our customers that Dieta kettles are made for cooks and kitchen staff. It is the way we see it too.
Burslan says they always aim for an easy-to-use kettle with features quickly to learn.

One way we think of a customer is how we set up the wires. When anybody opens the maintenance cover, the view should be calming; you don't need to worry about where you should or could touch it. The goal is that whoever sees what's inside the maintenance cover could easily describe it and later act.

Things fell into place with Dietatec

Many things make Burslan happy about Dietatec.

First of all, it was easy to start working here. I knew that I could not cope by myself and needed help from others. No one could have taught me better than my supervisor Samu, and everybody encouraged me to ask for help when needed.

Burslan praised working methods and smooth cooperation. Dietatec has exposed him to modern working approaches, and work development is continuous.

When designers or sales have development ideas or needs, they ask for factory workers' opinions. People working in production often come up with improvement suggestions while working. That's why the answer can be at the table before anybody asks. Workers have been told to act proactively.

"Atmosphere, doing it together, and the possibility of making an impact." This answer is given by most Dieta-team members, even without question.

Playing football with children in your free time

Now that Burslan's busy and stressful entrepreneur's life is behind, he can enjoy the calm and pleasant new job enabling free time (a regular thing in Finland). He shall carry out Dietatec's policy of leaving the work at the factory. Burslan does this through a family hobby, football.

At the time, my free time means children, but I enjoy myself on and around the football field. My work there supports my children's hobby: I pass, kick and collect the balls together when needed.

Work and free time are comfortably balanced, or what do you think?
